Who we are

What we collect

Newsletter: the email address you give us.

Contact and job enquiries: the name, email address and message you send.

Grievance and whistleblowing reports: the category, your message and, unless you choose to withhold it, your name and email address. With every report we also automatically record technical details: the date and time; your IP address and the approximate location derived from it (country, region, city); your device type, operating system and browser; screen and window size; language and time-zone settings; the page you came from; and how long the form was open. These details are recorded even when you withhold your name.

Cookies: two small cookies that remember your language and your cookie choice. Visitor statistics (Vercel Web Analytics) are counted without cookies and without identifying you.

Why

To send the newsletter you asked for, to answer your messages, and to receive, investigate and respond to grievances under MNLF’s grievance and safeguards procedures, including verifying reports and preventing misuse of the form.

Who can see it

Grievance reports are seen only by the MNLF staff responsible for the category concerned, and are stored in a private system that the public website cannot read. We do not publish, sell or share this information, except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

For as long as needed to handle your message or report and to meet MNLF’s record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, in line with Mongolia’s Law on Personal Data Protection. Write to info@mnlf.org.
